European researchers will present their work and analysis of the development of ICT in tourism, balance sheet and prospects for innovation tourist, business applications of e-tourism and new trends.

« Tourism@ awards », annual event dedicated to technological innovation for the tousim industry, will take place in NIce on december 2008 for its eighth edition.    

High level conférences will be held before the competition awards ceremony.

This year a main focus will be made on nominees who wil have the opportunity to show their offers in front of an impressive panel of the tourism industry.

"Tourism@ Awards" is complementary to the « Rencontres Tourism@ » who aims to enable the adoption and deployment of the new technological in the local tourism ecosystem.
